Born in 1983, he studied clarinet at the "Vincenzo Bellini" State Conservatory, today "Alessandro Scarlatti", in Palermo in the class of M° Vincenzo Canonico, graduating with full marks in 2003. He specialized in solo, orchestral and chamber repertoire with M° Calogero Palermo. He also studied at the "Santa Cecilia" State Conservatory in Rome in the class of Maria Rosaria Clemente, obtaining in 2012 the Master of II Level in Chamber Music with full marks and honors.
In 2003, after graduating, he won the audition to be part of the orchestra of the Italian-American Festival 2004, held in the United States in Minneapolis, Duluth, Minnesota.
He was part of the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana of Fiesole and was eligible for the Academy of the Theater Alla Scala in Milan and at the "Maggio Formazione", youth orchestra of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, in Florence.
In December 2008 he won the public selection competition to join, as a clarinetist, of the Banda Nazionale della Polizia di Stato, with which he also had the opportunity to perform as a soloist and in various chamber formations. He held the role until 2024.
In these years, remaining active in study and research, he won and was suitable in several auditions that gave him the opportunity to collaborate frequently with important lyrical-symphonic institutions such as: Opéra Royal de Wallonie de Liège (Belgium), Orchestra Regionale Toscana, Gran Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Fondazione Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino of Florence, Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, Orchestra Leonore de Pistoia, Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, Teatro Vittorio Emanuele of Messina, Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese, Teatro Marrucino of Chieti, Teatro Francesco Cilea of Reggio Calabria, Orchestra Sinfonica del Mediterraneo of Palermo.
He carries out solo and chamber work throughout Italy and abroad, among the many experiences, have been significant: The K622 concert by W. Mozart with the orchestra of the Constantine Musical Chapel of Rome, The concert with the soprano Rosa Feola for the chamber event "Ponti Sonori" at the Fondazione Accademia Santa Cecilia in Rome and the concert within the prestigious chamber season of Bronnbach, Frankfurt, Germany.
He is part of the Davabugi Clarinet Quartet, with which he won the V International Competition of the city of Carlino (UD) and the XII National Chamber Music Competition of the city of Grosseto. With this training he carries out an intense concert activity. One of the most significant concerts to remember, entitled "Clarinet Power", is with the Valtellina Wind Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Lorenzo Della Fonte on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary since its foundation. As one of the four soloists, he performed in national premiere "The Musketeers" by Oscar Navarro for clarinet quartet and wind orchestra.
He is often invited as a teacher to teach clarinet courses and its repertoire, both in the conservatory and at musical associations, including: The Accademia di Scatola Sonora in Rome, with which he has been collaborating for a few years holding an annual masterclasses, the conservatory "G. Cantelli” of Novara on the occasion of the Fiati Festival, the ANBIMA National Association of Autonomous Italian Musical Bands, the ABBM Bergamo Music Bands Association of Bergamo, the musical association of San Paolo dei Cavalieri (Rome), "Borgo in Musica" of San Marco D'Alunzio (Messina). In April 2024 he wins the audition for the place of bass clarinet solo and second clarinet at the Orchestra of the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège, Belgium.
