Clarinet Légende with German fingering system
Buffet Crampon writes German history with Viennese sound tradition
200 years of expertise in making clarinets
Two fingering systems - one musical cosmos. After 200 years of development and expertise in making Boehm clarinets, Buffet Crampon transmits its know-how and innovative prowess to the construction of a professional clarinet with a German fingering system in collaboration with Matthias Schorn.
German system with innovations of Boehm-Clarinets
The emphasis is on the ease of playing, the free flow of air which favours a direct response, a precise and centred tone and exact intonation which gives unlimited expression to the clarinettist's creative impulses.

The advantages of a Boehm clarinet and the innovative strength of Buffet Crampon are also expressed in the fact that the tenons are reinforced with metal rings, thus ensuring a permanent connection between the upper and lower joint. Two tuning rings, which are inserted between the lower and centre joint, guarantee intonational flexibility and provide a firm hold at lower pitches.
