Principal Clarinet of the San Carlo Theatre Orchestra Naples

Luca Sartori is 1st clarinet of the San Carlo theater in Naples. Born in Rimini in 1980, he graduated brilliantly from the "G. Rossini" Conservatory in Pesaro, under the guidance of Maestro Renzo Angelini, also winning a scholarship.
Since 2000 he has studied with maestro Fabrizio Meloni, 1st clarinet of the "Alla Scala" theater in Milan; of this theater in 2001/2002 he attended the academy performing in several concerts with the Orchestra of the "Alla Scala" Theater Academy.Since 2000 he has studied with maestro Fabrizio Meloni, 1st clarinet of the "Alla Scala" theater in Milan; of this theater in 2001/2002 he attended the academy performing in several concerts with the Orchestra of the "Alla Scala" Theater Academy.
In July 2003 he won the 1st clarinet competition at the San Carlo theater in Naples; with it, he makes several tours and plays under the direction of illustrious conductors such as: Gary Bertini, Georges Prêtre, Nello Santi, Eliahu Inbal, Jeffrey Tate, Yuri Temirkanov, Donato Renzetti, Antonio Pappano, Daniel Oren, Riccardo Muti, Riccardo Chailly, Zubin Mehta, Fabio Luisi.
In September 2005 he performed as a soloist at the "San Carlo" Theater performing "Introduction Theme and Variations" by Rossini, in December 2008 at the RAI auditorium in Naples with Concerto N 1 by C.M. von Weber.
In March 2014 he was included in the symphonic season of the "Massimo napoletano" for the performance of Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante K 297b, for 4 solo instruments. In October 2023 he performed the Mozart K 622 concert for Clarinet and Orchestra with the Molise Symphony Orchestra.
He collaborated with several Italian orchestras as first clarinet: RAI National Symphony Orchestra, Rome Opera Orchestra, Sicilian Symphony Orchestra, Milan Philharmonic (the Fil). Since 2018 he has collaborated as First Clarinet in the “Alla Scala” Theater Orchestra and the La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra of Milan.
He collaborates with chamber music groups, participating in international events and festivals such as Ravello Festival, Festival dei due Mondi, Festival delle Nazioni, Merano Music Festival, Sagra Musicale Malatestiana.
He recorded Paisiello's Divertimenti with the wind instruments of the "San Carlo" Theater for Amadeus, with whom he held a concert in February 2015 in the Court Theater of the Hermitage in St. Petersburg on the occasion of the Hermitage Festival of ancient music. He frequently holds specialization and master courses, invited by musical institutions and national conservatories.
