Professor of the Department of Orchestra studies, Tianjin Conservatory of Music, Director of Teaching and Research in Orchestra and Chamber Music, clarinetist, tutor for Masters students, executive director of the Clarinet Society of the Chinese Musicians Association, principal clarinet of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Tianjin Conservatory of Music, contracted artist to BUFFET (France), and D'ADDARIO (USA).
After graduating in 1991, he stayed at the school to teach, teaching clarinet at the university and the attached high school, and teaching woodwind chamber music. He also served as principal clarinet in the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory of Music, and was also engaged in performing clarinet chamber music. He has held many solo concerts and chamber music concerts. Since 1998, he has participated in all international clarinet art festivals held in China and has performed at many art festivals. In August 2010, at the invitation of the Japan Clarinet Association, he participated in the Asian Clarinet Festival in Tokyo, Japan, and held solo concerts in collaboration with Japanese pianists. In November 2015, as an artist contracted to Buffet (France), he was invited to Paris to participate in the 190th anniversary celebratory concert of Buffet. From 2006 to 2009, as principal clarinet of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory of Music, he participated in the master classes held by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra at the Tianjin Conservatory of Music for four consecutive years, as well as various major performances inside and outside the school. He is often invited by the Tianjin Symphony Orchestra to participate in the Tianjin Symphony Orchestra’s music season performances as guest principal clarinet. He has collaborated with many famous conductors at home and abroad, and performed in many symphonies, concertos and operas. He also performed in the premiere of composer Huang Anlun's original opera "Yue Fei" and the Asian premiere of British composer Britten's opera "The Humiliation of Lucrezia".
