Divine clarinet
The top of the range of the RC family serving musical demands.
Know-how and technology.
Research and development is a discipline that is both creative and rigorous. Paul Meyer, alongside our workshops and the greatest international clarinetists, guided the research project for a new acoustic: the Divine clarinets are the culmination of this passionate work.
They benefit from the pointing of the holes of the Tosca which gives it a considerable improvement in the intonation over the entire range of the instrument, as well as work on the bore aimed at making the register passages more fluid and facilitating the emission in the most extreme playing conditions. Available only in wood, they benefit from Green Line inserts on certain locations of the upper body, thus eliminating air leaks on the holes most exposed to the risk of splitting.
Light and intuitive
The carbon wire (Buffet Crampon patent) replaces all the metal rings, thus saving a considerable 60 grams in weight as well as contributing to a new overall balance of the instrument, enhancing the vibration, which improves air flow even more.
Divine clarinets are equipped with a low F correction key like the Tosca model. They adopt a new keywork with new spatulas which improve ergonomics without destabilizing the technical playing of clarinetists.
The family of R13 bores had its top of the range with the Tosca, it is now the family of RC bores which is evolving with the arrival of the Divine in the Buffet Crampon workshops.
This new range of instruments constitutes a major step in the history of the brand both on a human level and on a technological level. It is a faithful reflection of the combination of the expertise of a French musical instrument manufacturer and cutting-edge technology at the service of high musical standards.
