Fuminori Haga

Part-time lecturer at Toho Gakuen University, regular course and diploma lecturer at Shobi College of Music, and member of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra.

Haga was born in Miyagi Prefecture. He moved to France after graduating from the Faculty of Instrumental Music, of the Music Department of Tokyo University of the Arts, and graduated from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional d'Aubervilliers. Haga took 1st place in the 2nd Young clarinetist Competition, was selected for the 6th Japan Clarinet Competition and the clarinet division of the 78th Japan Music Competition, and was awarded 1st place in the clarinet division of the 27th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition. Haga appeared in the JT Art Hall Chamber Music Series, Seiji Ozawa Music Academy Opera Project, and more. He also performed with the Tokyo New City Orchestra conducted by Tadaaki Odaka. To date, he has studied under Susumu Sengoku, Hiroyuki Hibino, Masaharu Yamamoto, Yoshiaki Suzuki, Yoshinobu Kamei, A. Damiens, A. Chabod, and N. Baldeyrou. He served as Assistant Principal clarinetist of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and is currently a member of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra. Haga is a Part-time Lecturer at Toho Gakuen School of Music, and a regular course and diploma Lecturer at Shobi Music College.
