Jazz clarinet musician, and director for Naoki Suzuki & Swing Ace Orchestra and Naoki Suzuki Pop Swing Orchestra.

Naoki Suzuki grew up listening to his Uncle, Shoji Suzuki, playing jazz clarinet and has devoted himself to it. He has been playing professionally since graduating Tokyo College of Music High School, where he majored in clarinet. With the swing style as his backbone, he has performed as a soloist at concerts and jazz festivals both domestically and internationally. He has also formed his own band called ‘Swing Ace Orchestra’ that sprinkles the traditional swing style with their own unique style. They have performed in numerous concerts, such as Expo 2005 and Yoshiyuki Kôzu’s Fun Concert. He has also collaborated with many Japanese and international artists, such as the late Eddie Higgins and Yōsuke Yamashita for piano, and Eiji Kitamura for clarinet. As a studio musician, he has been involved in a diverse variety of recordings as a multi-reed clarinet and saxophone player, and as a producer he has also been involved in organizing many concerts, including directing the Shinshiro Jazz concert.
