Clarinet professor at the Conservatorio Superior de Música “Manuel Castillo” in Seville
Spanish clarinetist Pepe Odriozola was born in Seville, he studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Música “Manuel Castillo” in Seville with Antonio Salguero and Antonio García Herrera. Concurrently, he studied at Academia de Estudios Orquestales “Barenboim-Said” in Seville with Matthias Glander.
Additionally, he studied with Hans Deinzer at “Scuola internazionale di perfezionamento musicale” in Piacenza. Subsequently, he studied with Yehuda Gilad, Andreas Sundén, Vicente Alberola and Carlos Gustavo Duarte.
He has worked with orchestras such as Orquesta de Cámara de Bormujos, playing as a soloist Mozart and Weber concertos, Oviedo Filarmonía, Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla and Orquesta Sinfónica de Radio Televisión Española. He was a former member from the Orquesta Joven de Andalucía, Joven Orquesta Nacional de España, Joven Orquesta Internacional Oviedo Filarmonía and Orquesta-escuela of Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid.
From 2010, he is clarinet teacher at Andalusian conservatories and from 2018, Pepe Odriozola is a clarinet professor at the Conservatorio Superior de Música “Manuel Castillo” in Seville.
