Saxophonist – Performer, Educator, Chamber Musician
Saki TANAKA holds a DNSPM degree from the Pôle supérieur Paris Boulogne-Billancourt in Philippe PORTEJOIE's class and also a Bachelor's degree in Musicology from the Sorbonne (Paris IV) in 2020.
She continued her studies at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris, where she obtained her concert diploma in 2022.
At the same time, she became interested in learning pedagogy and obtained her state diploma in saxophone teaching in 2021.
Since 2021, she has been working at the Georges Bizet Conservatory in Le Vésinet and at the Municipal School of Arts in Orly.
Her educational interests are not limited to music; she earned a bachelor's degree in Science Education from Tokyo Gakugei University in Japan, her native country.
She has been invited to perform at several concerts, including the International Festival in Colmar, the celebration of 300,000,000 visitors to the Eiffel Tower, and the Bach Festival in Tours.
She participated in the recording of Saxovoce's CD “Le Souffle des Légendes” (2024), where she played second soprano saxophone. She has performed in various formats (saxophone and harp duos, saxophone quartets, saxophone ensembles, big bands, etc.) and styles in France and Japan.
She participated in Buffet Crampon's 200th anniversary concert in 2025.
